Coach rides from hell!

We have travelled 7 hours on a coach across the African plains, passing many villages, doing top speeds, up windy mountainous roads to make it to North Tanzania, Moshi - Home of Mount Kilimanjaro.

The bus drivers are crazy, they drive so fast like they are fleeing the police! We even passed a coach accident where the coach involved, came off the road – you’d think that would slow the driver down…ah, nope!!

But anyways we are finally here in a lovely hotel with bug free, clean, rooms that has hot water, an actual toilet rather then a hole in the floor and even pillows!! LOL we sooo appreciate these basic luxuries, we were like children on Christmas day when we arrived!! LOL But best of all, from our bedroom we have an amazing view of the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro, standing so proud and majestic.

Moshi is home to one of Tanzania's major coffee growing regions and is the place for those who wish to climb the mountain. The place is so much more cooler and cleaner then other parts of Tanzania we have experienced so far and has good roads.

Jason and me intend to do some chilling here and maybe look into a safari trip...
